An urban planner and historian, Dr Binous specialises in the urban heritage and built environment of the Medina of Tunis. Dr Jamila Binous is the author of several books on the Medina of Tunis. The visit began with a historical overview through the study of maps, followed by the Zawiya of Sidi Ibrahim al-Riyahi, Dar Lasram, and the Zitouna Mosque.\n
