Rencontre Ibn Khaldun: “Désaliéner l’institution pour désaliéner le malade : l’expérience en psychothérapie institutionnelle à El Razi”

In our first Rencontre Ibn Khaldun event of the year, we are thrilled to present the film “La Porte” / “El Baab” (1980), followed by a discussion with Psychiatrist and Professor Emeritus Dr Essedik Jeddi and MECAM Fellow Dr Saniya Taher. The event invites audiences to engage with the cinematic vision of Dr Jeddi and reflect on his radical approach to addressing the legacy of colonial psychiatry. The discussion will be held in Arabic and French.
